Privacy Policy

What personal data we handle, why, for how long, and how to make us stop. We collect very little, and we sell none of it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Chavoloop is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. We are based at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

For any data protection matter, contact privacy@chavoloop.co.uk.

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.

2. The short version

You can read every page on this website without giving us anything. We only hold personal data if you choose to send us a message. We do not sell data, we do not share it with gambling operators, and we do not add anyone to a mailing list.

3. What we collect and why

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. This website is not directed at children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

4. What we never do

  • We never sell your personal data. There is no circumstance in which we would.
  • We never pass your details to a gambling operator or an advertiser.
  • We never add you to a marketing list because you contacted us.
  • We never build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.

6. Who else sees it

We keep the list of third parties deliberately short. Your data may be handled by our hosting provider and our email provider, each acting solely on our instructions under a written data processing agreement, and by professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. Nobody else.

Where a provider processes data outside the United Kingdom, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, so your data keeps the same protection it has here.

7. Cookies

We set one strictly necessary cookie to remember your consent choice. Optional analytics cookies are set only if you accept them, and rejecting them changes nothing about how this website works. Every cookie is itemised in our Cookie Policy, where you can also change your choice at any time.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your data is used — this page.
  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification of anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erasure of your data where there is no overriding reason to keep it.
  • Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out beforehand.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@chavoloop.co.uk. We respond within one month, free of charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not disclose your data to somebody else.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first at privacy@chavoloop.co.uk so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain directly to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time — ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113.

10. Security

This website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection. We apply a strict content security policy, we do not load third-party scripts, and access to any personal data is limited to the small number of people who need it to answer you. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we hold small precisely so that there is little to lose.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will make that clear on this page rather than quietly amending it.
